The author, Lois McMaster Bujold, is a good story teller. She draw us into the stories. Japanese version are published with Tokyo Sogensha. But, I wonder whether Tokyo Sogensha (in Sogen SF Bunko series) stop translating to publish. I am waiting for the next new Japanese translation for years. But a story was translated at last. (update 2001.12.30). And one more published on July, 2002.
If you want to look at the originals in Tokyo, I recommend the foreign books floor of Tower Records Shibuya or the south Shinjuku Branch of Kinokuniya . Representative dealers in foreign books, such as the Nihonbashi Branch of Maruzen, the Main Store of Sanseido, the Main Store of Yaesu Book Center, the Shinjuku Main Store of Kinokuniya and so on, hardly keep Bujold's works. the Shinjuku South Branch of Kinokuniya has a few books.
