Mr. HONDA Shin'ichi's writings give suggesions about the way to survive to introverted persons, persons against organization, and persons given to worrying. He is the head of "Gendai Shokugyou Kenkyusho" (Contemporary Job Laborotory), and he gives advice without a fee to people who are worried by their job or their lives. He also consults as qualified diagnostiician of small and medium-sized enterprises .
It was several days before the examination for entrance to a university at the second year between schools that I found Mr. Honda's book for the first time.
We often use a word ronin.
A ronin originally means a masterless samurai, a Japanese warrior.
Today, a ronin is a name of a high-school graduate who has failed to
enter a college and is waiting for another chance.
Many of ronins go to cramming schools, but I did not go to them.
I failed to enter a certain T. university when I was in high-school and in the first year of ronin,
and in the second year of ronin I felt I'd never pass the examination,
I could not concentrate on the study,
and I felt emotionally unstable myself.
It was at that time that I found a book written by Mr. Honda at the public library near my house.
"Oh, it is true to think like that", I accepted,
and I took back presence of mind.
In the end, I entered Saitama university.
Since then, I often read Mr. Honda's books.
Though I don't have seen him personally, I look up to him as my mentor of the life. (Needless to say, I will be not able to get to the ideal....)
