MAKISIMA LIBRARY

Preface

The name "Makisima Library" has its origin in the fact that I ,the author, like books and that I brought a bookshelf into the laboratory at university and it was called "Maxima Bunko" that means Makisima's library.

Though I do not decide theme of this page, I will write tsuredzure naru mamani about books which attract my interest and about something interested. Do you know "Tsure-dzure-gusa", Essays in Idleness that is Japanese classic essay? It begins with the famouse phrase "Tsure dzure naru mama ni..." which means "as idleness..." in English, I guess.

My name is spelled MAKISIMA now. It is usually spelled MAKISHIMA in Japan, and I have often spelled MAXIMA. But I could not get these domain names, such as maxima.com, maxima.org, makishima.com. Then, I get makisima.org for me, and makisima.com for my parents' company, MAKISIMA. So, now I spell MAKISIMA.

The books etc. which are put on "Bibliography" are in the possession of Makisima Library.

If you want to know or see how I and Makisima Library are, please see Makisima Library and my Self-introduction.
